Yesterday Brian and I heard the most amazing sound. We heard the heart beat of our little tiny baby!! Dr. Frields said I’m 7weeks and 4 days, the baby is 1.26 cm long and the estimated due date is June 12th 2008. It’s so amazing to think that a little tiny life is growing inside of me with a heart beat, a brain, and little forming arms and legs. OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!

It’s a little hard to tell what you’re looking at in this picture. The head is the rounded part on the far left by the little plus sign, the spine runs along the top and the pointy part on the other end is what’s left of the “tail”.

Hi, you don't know me, but I'm sure you've seen me around crossroads. I came across your blog today and read the good news. I just gave birth to my second daughter two weeks ago, and let me tell you, pregnancy is one of the most exciting things a woman will go through. When they put that baby in your arms for the first time, it's like nothing else. So congratulations!
One thing you might want to check out it baby-gaga.com to ad a ticker on your page if you'd like so that people can follow along with your pregnancy. Take care!
Yeah! I'm so glad your appointment went well. There is something so amazing about hearing that little hearbeat and seeing it beat on the screen. And your due date is my birthday, so I'll be rooting for an "on-time" delivery! I know there's only about a 2% chance, but it's still kinda cool for me!
Personally, I think you should go over just a few days so the baby can share my birthday on the 16th. :-) JK, it's not really that fun to go late...you feel like the baby is never going to come. Hearing the heartbeat is awesome. I always get all choked up every time I'd hear the boys' heartbeats. It's completely amazing that such a tiny little person is growing inside of you and you feel a sense of relief that everything is still ok. I think I wrote on my blog a while back about how amazed I continue to be that God equipped our bodies to grow a perfectly complete little person and then make the perfect food for their bodies after they're born. God is awesome. I'm going to try to come visit sometime next summer, so now I'll plan to come after your baby comes!!
oh! I can almost hear it in my head! Such a precious sound, and with it comes the realization that forever you will be a Mommy and your heart will be so tightly connected to this little one. I can't wait to watch you meet this little one, it seems like so far away and yet before long the day will be here!
Hi Josi and Brian! How fun that your baby is due on Great-Gramma Casebolt's birthday, and Aunt Annie's birthday. Of course, he/she could be born on the 4th and join all the Aunts and Great-Grampa. What a precious picture of a precious gift from God. We can't wait to meet your little one, and we are praying for him/her. Lots of love - Mom C.
