Alicia and Chloe

It's been so fun to watch my little neice, Alicia, around Chloe. At first she was silently awed, she would sit and stare at Chloe and shush anyone who was to loud around her. As she became more accustomed to having Chloe around she would ask, whenever she saw me, "bebe? bebe?". Only recently has Alicia started touching Chloe. Her favorite thing to do is poke her nose and say "nose", we have to watch her constantly because she likes to do this with her eyes also. The other day Alicia did something she's never done before. We had just gotten to Mark and Terah's for a visit and Alicia was so excited to see Chloe. She followed me until I set Chloe's car seat down, knelt in front of it babbling in this little high pitched voice touching her toes and asking "out?" "out?" I started unbuckling Chloe and then Alcia said "hold it?, hold it?". She was so cute! I helped her up onto the couch and then laid Chloe in her lap.

"Nose!"

I told Terah later, it sounds strange but it's almost like Alicia is realizing that Chloe is a little person. At one point while holding her, Chloe's hand landed on Alicia's shoulder, it startled her and she immediately pushed it away. As soon as she did though, I watched her stare at it where it lay and then touch it as if realizing what it was. Later when she was holding Chloe again ( I think this has become the new favorite thing) she picked up Chloe's little hand and said "hand?".
