Loading day

With all we have planned that we want to do before we go we decided it would be best to get our stuff packed and loaded and then play! We don't actually plan to hit the road until the 14th (great day to say goodbyes and drive off into the sunset, huh?)
We 're using the PODS moving system and it worked great! They delivered our storage bin on Tuesday(the 7th) morning and picked it up Thursday morning. Wednesday was our main packing day, we got all of our earthly possessions (at least what we won't need for the next week and a half) all loaded up! Our house feels so empty now! Being so busy, I never really stopped to take any pics but I have a few that I got from others to help fill in. :) I'm bummed that I didn't get any pics of the POD being delivered or picked up, Brian said it was pretty neat to watch. Maybe I'll be able to get some when they deliver it to our new home.

We had so many amazing helpers and I didn't get pictures of any of them! I'm so sad, but so thankful for the help that they each were. Ben and Julia, Caleb and Violet came for a while. Isaac and a friend came for a while, my sweet sister Terah was there all day, Mark came after work and helped us knock out a lot of the last minute little stuff!

Terah took a couple pictures of the kids while the craziness was going on.

When late afternoon hit, we decided it was time time for the kiddos to take a break. As you can see Abby desperately needed one.
Here's the one picture I got at the very end of the day.
So, now it's all on its way to our new home and isn't scheduled to arrive until after we get there. Yikes! that's almost two weeks with empty old home and then empty new home!
