5 wonderful years!... and counting

6 years ago the Lord gave me a friend. A friend that I liked being around and wanted to get to know better.

 5 years ago that friend had become my best friend and on April 7th we committed our lives to each other for as long as we both live.

 These past 5 years have not been without their hard times or their happy times. Two moves, four children, (two with us, one in heaven and one in the oven;), two job losses, several family weddings, the births of 8 nieces and nephews, a church change, a move to a new state, 4 different jobs, and much more. Through it all we've had the abundant blessings of the hand of the Lord guiding and directing our every step and the hand of each other to cling to in the scary times; to wipe away the tears during the sad times, to hold as we prayed through the confusing and wisdom needing times, and yes, even to tickle during the happy times. In some ways it seems like it couldn't have been 5 years ago that we faced each other and pledged our life and love and shared our first kiss. At the same time, though, they have been such full, amazing years that I feel like I have indeed lived every one of them. God, in his amazing wisdom and sovereignty new exactly what I needed in a husband and he blessed me richly when he gave me Brian Casebolt. I love you so much Brian! So very much more even than the day I married you! I thank our God for you! And look forward to the next 5 years AND BEYOND!
