Drew: Three Months Old!!!

When Drew was a few weeks old, and we were in the throes of middle of the night feedings, extreme weariness and millions of diaper changes a day, I remember saying to Brian "we just have to make it to three months and then it will all be easier". I said it for myself as much as (if no more than) i did for him, but it felt like a far off dream. That day that i spoke of has arrived! Drew is three months old! And i was right! Life is by no means "un-crazy" but it has gotten easier. For one thing Drew is officially sleeping through the night AND does it in his crib in Chloe and Colton's room. YES! Oh uninterrupted sleep, how i love you! Drew is also finally on a three hour eat, play sleep routine and that definitely contributes to the "easier-ness" of life. (if you can't think of the word you need just make one up. That's what i do.:) Another thing that makes life easier is the smiles and gurgles and coos and even attempts at laughing that we now get to enjoy frequently from our newest family member. Just like the smiles and laughter that come from his brother and sister, they brighten the moments that they appear in and linger in the minds eye, easing the stress of everyday living.

Drew didn't have a Dr checkup this month so i don't have any stats for you, but i think the pics will give an idea of how he's growing.

Pics from the last month:

Gaining a love for "literature"
I like this picture!

Drew loves this toy. He lays under his "animal friends" and watches them move as his hands bat at them.

I'm not sure if Chloe's going to be able to hold him for much longer!

Watchin' Mom make dinner.

Drew is learning to recognize our voices. Chloe's voice pretty much always provokes a grin. Especially when she uses what she calls her "lady voice" (a very high pitched sing-songy voice)

This was taken by Auntie Kristin on Thanksgiving day!
ummm... Brian took this one.

Drew looks so happy looking at Brian. Does he fully comprehend his dire situation?
