April Favorites

While we were hoping for spring and experiencing some warmer days winter just wouldn't completely release its icy grip on our world. I was often reminded when tempted to despair that spring would never come that our faithful creator would always bring "seedtime and harvest" in His time. We did get a break from the cold though when we took a trip to CA for a friends wedding. It was so fun to see Mark and Terah and their family and Ben and Julia and their family!

We even got a little visit with Auntie Hannah, who came down for the wedding of the same friend!

We also got to have a visit with another dear friend and her three kiddos. It was so good to catch up with her, see how big her boys are getting and meet her baby girl!

This is her middle one. Super cute!

As soon as i snapped it and saw what it had caught i totally cracked up. It looks like Caiden is grossed out by something Colton did, and Colton is just proud of it. :D

I was super brave(or crazy) :) and flew home alone with all three kiddos (we even had a layover! A half an hour layover to boot!). Poor Colton ended up being feverish and sick but i think that made things easier on me because he wasn't his normal crazy self. He even took a nap for most of one flight!

I had the joy of doing the cake for our friends wedding. It was a ton of work, but fun to get back into it. It's been awhile!
