Candid Camera in the Womb

I'm not usually the one to do the blogging. I most often leave that up to my lovely wife; but since I have quite a bit of time on my hands I thought I'd give it a shot and write/show an update of our little baby girl! Now I know what your thinking: "I've seen baby pictures before" and "All I'll see is the blurry, foggy X-files snapshot!" Well to all those who dared think such things, I have nothing to say to you! Only that when your hair is caught in a blender while fending off a pack of noodle-wielding chimpanzee's, using only a plunger and a waffle-iron, don't come running to me for help! I shall be enjoying my adorable little baby girl! I'm allergic to waffle-irons anyway! Now, to those who are interested... ahem... On Monday the 4th of February, 2008, my rather plump-looking wife and I walked briskly yet calmly into the Doctor's office, as punctual as Old Faithful. Maybe not. An hour later, after much reading, writing and arithmetic (from watching the clock), we were both escorted into a back room, where we were to be met by our Doctor with his strange machines and delicate instruments. The tuba was most disturbing. After a brief meeting we were pointed to an even backer room! Once there, the Doctor whipped out his tools, and began to go to work, extracting as many pictures as he could of our very wiggly little baby girl! And yes, it seems that we are in fact having a little girl! A cute one I might add. We looked on as he went from measuring her head and legs and stomach, to taking prolonged looks at her thumping little heart, complete with opening and closing chambers. After receiving two prints of who I'm convinced could easily win the Miss Unborn Pageant, we departed the premises and headed toward our most humble abode. Minutes passed into days, and finally, after much deliberation, we have dubbed our little baby girl, Miss Brian Timothy II! Okay, at least I thought it sounded good. My wife threatened to feed me nothing but sour cream and guacamole for the next 36 years of my life, so I consented and WE :) decided on a name... which we both liked... a lot! So without further ado, I present, Miss Chloe Elizabeth Casebolt! TA DA!! :) Now you probably know why Josi does all of the blogging.

The blackish part on her head is because her head is kinda squished up against the wall of my wife's belly. But, she does have a cute little nose! It was fun to see her kick and hear Josi say, "I felt that one!" All knit together by our amazing God! So cool!!! :)

Those are really great pictures! I never saw our little Samantha that clearly in the womb. Chloe is a cute name and I like alliterations (Chloe Casebolt, Samantha Swanson). Can't wait to meet her when she makes her appearance in the outside world!

A girl! How exciting!! And she really is super cute! I can't wait to see pictures of her. And speaking of pictures, I need to see a picture of the so-called "pudgy" Josi. In the 10 or so years I've known Josi, I've never once seen her pudgy, so this I've got to see! ;-) Josi, I bet you look super cute!
