Terah and I have a very dear family friend, Debby Stitzinger. Debby has six grandchildren but only one lives here in California. As you can guess she loves to hold and play with Alicia, and now Chloe, and when speaking to them, refers to herself as "Mimi".
Terah and I love to spend time with Mrs. Stitz, we've learned so much from her over the years through her spoken word and through her life example. For those of you that read Terah's blog you may remember that Mrs. Stitz is the sweet lady that they stayed with when they were evacuated during the fires.
Since we hadn't got over to see her recently Terah and decided it was about time we do that, so we loaded up our babies, the makings for a chicken salad and a delicious peach crisp that Terah had made and we landed ourselves on "Mimi's" doorstep. Alicia is quite the pro at knocking now so she did the honors, we heard a cheerful voice from inside the house before the door even opened "do I hear a tiny little knock?" The door opened and the fun began!
Saying hi to Mimi
"Mimi" has lots of fun toys for little children to play with! (notice the frog in this picture)
Enjoying the delicious peach crisp!
The frog that I pointed out in that earlier picture sang and danced to a Christmas song so Alicia and Mimi were singing and dancing with it.

The frog that I pointed out in that earlier picture sang and danced to a Christmas song so Alicia and Mimi were singing and dancing with it."more?" Alicia would ask as soon as the song finished. We could tell Mrs. Stitz was having just as much fun as Alicia because immediately she would respond "well, ok one more time." It was great fun watching them do it over and over!
Mrs Stitz is an amazing quilter and while I was there I got to have a peek at a quilt that she is making for
Brian and I. It looks beautiful and it's nearing completion. You can't see it but right now she is quilting around each little square.
I thank the Lord for Debby Stitzingers influence in my life. I'm so excited to be done working and able to visit her more often! Thank you Mrs. Stitz. for a wonderfully fun afternoon!

Your daughter is looking more and more like her cousin, which means she has a lot of your genes.
