New chair pics!!

Here are some of the new things Chloe has learned as she headed towards her 9 month birthday!
-I think my very favorite is that our little daughter now says her first word. It's so adorable to watch her look at people say "Hi! Hi!" with a big smile on her face. She says it pretty quietly and almost it's almost breathy sounding. She's done it for awhile now, it just took me a bit to realize that she knew what she was saying.
-I've begun to realize that Chloe loves to play games. She has instigated several that we enjoy playing it's so fun to hear the little laugh bubble up out of her. Some of the games she plays are versions of peek-a-boo. She'll look at us a smile and then turn her head away really fast, almost right away she'll whip it back so fast she almost tips over, her face covered in sometimes a huge grin and sometimes a mischievous little smile. She also likes to play the more traditional peek-a-boo, with some type of obect in her hand (a book, a wash cloth, my hand) she'll cover her eyes and then pull it away.
One day Chloe was sitting on my lap, she let her head fall back against me and I let out a "humph!" she found this very amusing and will sit and do it over and over, laughing each time her head hits me and I make a sound.
-Chloe finally figured out clapping. She's tried off and on for a few months now, but then one day she just did it! I love when she does, it's so cute!
-Chloe still has not decided that she wants to be part of the mobile world. But she is experimenting a little more. Her push ups are getting higher and I've noticed her attempting to get her knees up under her. When I've put her on her knees a couple times shes balanced there for a bit. I think I'm fine with this. Part of me wants to see her crawl cause I know how cute it is, but at the same time I know that she's developing fine and that eventually she'll figure it out. When that time comes I'll never again have my little girl that is just content to sit and play with the toys around her.
-She takes steps with the help of someone holding her hands and will stand at a toy that she has for long ammounts of time.
-There are several signs that I have been attempting to teach Chloe and she's doing so well. She does all done when I say and do it ( although hers looks a bit different than mine:) She is also attempting the sign for please!
-Chloe is very attentive to the things that we do. We started a game where Brian or I say "reach up high!" and reach our hands up Chloe gets this cute little smile on her face and does it with us. Then we say "down low" put our hands down and she'll follow suit. Just recently she started putting her hands up when we say "reach up high" with out us having to do the motion. (I have a little video of this. I'll try to get it up soon!)
Another thing Chloe copies is pointing at Daddy. I say "Chloe, wears daddy?" and then I'll point to Brian and say "there's daddy!" Chloe likes this game and enjoys pointing with me.

This picture is just for Auntie Sarah! One day Sarah told me that she needed new pictures of Chloe. Like the obedient person that I am I went right away and took this picture for her. I'm sorry it's taken me so long o get it up Sarah!

Sleepin' like Daddy! I've been finding Chloe asleep like this a lot lately and one day decided to take a picture of it. She was asleep so I ran and got the camera, turned it on, pushed the button and boink! her eyes popped open right before the flash.
