Chloe's eleventh month has been the month of major milestones. For some reason our little girl decided to hold off on growing up too fast (which I haven't really minded;) and has just finally started pushing herself to a sitting position and crawling!! Whoo hoo!!
Lets do chair pics first and then I'll ramble some more!

It's pretty cute to watch Chloe move around! Even at 11 months old she still looks so small. And just like I predicted, once she's started there's been no stopping her. It went like this. One day we were playing on the bed, all of a sudden Chloe scooted backward from tummy to bottom like she had been doing it for months (my theory is that she's secretly known how and just hasn't let on for some michevious reason of her own) a week later she started crawling, five days later (using her daddy as leverage) she pulled up onto her feet. A couple times I've caught her attempting to walk along furniture, but she's still a bit shaky for that. When it comes to walking with help, she's getting stronger and faster every day.Talking: There are multiple ways of conversing for a baby and Chloe does them all.
Shes is getting better at using the signs for all-done, more, please and where. But I have noticed more and more what i mentioned regarding this last month. There are times when I know she knows what I want her to say and in her little sin nature she refuses. But these are learning times and she must come to understand that she doesn't have a choice when it comes to obeying mommy and daddy.
Chloe's now has a second and third words to add to her vocabulary. (possibly more, I'll explain in a minute.) She's quite good at saying "hi" in many voices and ways. Her second word was kind of surprising, she says "tickle"! She's said it for a while now and it took me a bit to realize that she knew what she was saying. I finally decided that she understood when she recently did it while smiling at me and making tickle claws with her hands. It's so cute! I think I caught it on video I'll try to get that up. Her third word is a bit more normal, she now has added "bye" to her repertoire. Although it is not used with the same frequesncy as "hi" :D. I mentioned that Chloe has possibly more words and the only reason I say possibly is because I'm not convinced that she knows for sure what she's saying. Those words would be "mama" which she only says when she's crying and wants me, and daddy, which sounds like "da-ee". But I do say "daddy" a lot and when I say daddy and point to Brian, Chloe smiles and says "da-ee". The reason I'm not convinced is because it also sounds very much like the word that she uses for her rubber duck that she plays with in the tub. :D
Her baby babble is getting much more "english" sounding :D. Our good friend "Mimi" Stitz. advised me recently to listen closely to Chloe's babble because she would probably mimic the way I say things (i.e. voice inflection and intonation) sure enough just recently I began to notice little things. One thing I say often to Chloe is "where's daddy?" or "where did daddy go?" lately a couple times she has put her hands up in the sign for where and with the same inflection that I use, babbled out "eh da-ee doe?"
Music!! Chloe has developed a beat in her tiny body! As soon as she hears music...or a revving engine...or a pulsating fan :) her whole little body starts bee-boppin' to the beat. It's so cute!
Fun/Cute story: One day Chloe was playing in the living room while I was working on dinner. I realized as I worked that I couldn't hear her playful sounds anymore but instead could hear music. I peeked into the living room and saw that my cute little daughter had scooted herself over to her musical stand up toy (you can see it in the picture below), and with binky securly in place (which she found somwhere on the floor in her scooting to the toy) was bouncing along to the music. As i watched, the music ended, Chloe stopped, reached up with one hand to one of the instruments that start the music again, spun it, and then continued her bouncing. All the while contentedly sucking away at her binky.
I told you I was gonna ramble!! Here are a few more pics taken this month! Enjoy!
enjoying a morning stroll...
I'm pretty sure she fell asleep sitting up...

This month Chloe had her first e.r. trip due to a fever that wouldn't go away and no other normal cold/flu symptoms. I took this picture of my little sicky during one of the times that she didn't want me to hold her but just wanted to lay still.

Chloe was eating grapes in this little babyfood net, I was trying to get a good picture...
...so she decided to show me it.
