Christmas Memories Part 2: Christmas Day

Christmas Day! Christmas Day! Christmas Day!

Christmas morning we were all up and heading downstairs about 6:30a.m. we opened stockings and then ate a delicious breakfast of hot out of the oven cinnamon rolls, yogurt and fruit!

Mark, Terah and Caiden's stockings. Mark and Caiden's are pretty neat! They look like they're made from a tactical vest.

Here they come!

I remember so well being the excited kid coming to the living room to see what treasures the morning held. It's so weird being on the other side of things! But, also so very much fun to watch!

Chloe's looking at their trampoline, on it are cute little "pillow pet" type things that we found that come with a matching rolled up blanket inside.

Thats my stocking, my sweet husband kinda went overboard in finding things to stuff it with and had to pile stuff around it also.  Oh, that tea btw is probably my favorite tea in the world!

Brian's stocking. Heh! I kinda over bought too :D

Jumpin' on the trampoline! Thank you Gramma and Grampa Casebolt!

Tryin' out the new kitchen!

This was one of Abby's stocking stuffers.

The kiddos stockings!

Colton's stocking!

Chloe's stocking!

Colton was VERY excited about the strawberries!

After eating a delicious breakfast, we all got dressed and headed out the door to church! I'm sad that i don't have any pictures of that part of the morning. It was extra special somehow, to be gathering together to worship our Lord on the day that we celebrate his birth!
After we got back home, we were joined by my little sister Jessica. She had been at my Dad's but he brought her to Terah's so that we could see her and spend some more time with her!
While kiddos were down for much needed naps, us adults exchanged our gifts.

These were our gifts to everyone. Yes, they're wrapped in paper bags. I had an over abundance!

Marks gift to Brian was a spit wad blow gun. So funny!

I think this was one of Marks gifts to Terah.

Someone gave my husband a faux leather jacket that he really likes, but it's just a tad too small for him...
...so, I went on ebay and found the next size up!

The dress that I'm wearing here was my husbands "Open on Christmas eve" gift to me!
This is a good book!!

Brian's been getting in to coffee making. So I got him a little four cup coffee maker.

My husband totally spoiled me this year!

He got me a beautiful heart shaped necklace that opens like an envelope...

and holds a little heart with Chloe and Colton's names and birthdays on each side. On the front is our anniversary and on the back is "Baby Jo" 12/1/2009

Once again, I felt totally spoiled by my sweet hubby...

He got me something I'd been wanting, but never thought I'd get.

My very own...

SEWING MACHINE!!!
Woooo hoooooo!
After us adults finished our quiet relaxed time of visiting tea/coffee drinking and gift opening. We got the kids up! It was their turn to open gifts, and take part in giving each other the gifts they had picked out!

Colton feeding auntie jessica :)

Chloe, enjoying one of the treats from her stocking and waiting for her turn to open.

This is Mark and Terah and family's gift to Colton.

An adorable little airplane that has holes on the side for shapes to be inserted AND it also has a little remote control so you can drive it around. SO CUTE! Strangely, Colton loved it until we put batteries in and showed him how it moved (very slowly). He was TERRIFIED! It was actually quite funny!

Abby's turn!

Baby doll pack n' play and eating chair!

Chloe's turn!

Yay! We found a set of three of the cutest little baby dolls ever! I had been wanting to get Chloe her own baby doll so it was fun to be able to get her one AND give Alicia and Abby one.
There it is!

Chloe's gift to Momma
A really fun plaid shirt!!
Chloe's gift to daddy. She really wanted to get him a game they could play together. So, we finally settled on "Bop-it"

Enter Caiden! He slept a little longer than the other kiddos.
Alicia with her baby.
Abby with her baby.
Caiden opening his gift from his big sisters.
After the presents were all opened it was time to PLAY!

Colton gift to Chloe was a kids bedroom set to go with her little Calico Critters Rabbit family.
