Our Nebraska Surprise!

Yes, It's true... Though not part of our human plan, God in his infinite wisdom has decided that its time to add another little one to our family! Not sure yet how far along I am, but I'm thinking this little one will be just about done in the oven sometime in September.

The story: All throughout packing our stuff and moving to our new home I was extra tired and slightly weepy, but who wouldn't be with all that was filling my days? (at least that's what I thought). There were a lot of little clues that I was pregnant but non that shouted it out and made it obvious. (The biggest clue was nonexistent because I was still nursing Colton some and had not gotten back in to my regular monthly cycle) :-/ hopefully that's not too much information. Anyhow, whenever one of these little clues would surface, I would say to Brian "maybe I am pregnant", he would get this slightly worried look on his face (mostly due to the fact that we currently have no health insurance.) and then he would say "well, I guess if you start feeling sick, we'll know". Fast forward a couple weeks, we got to Nebraska and started settling into our new home, by about a week or so after we got here I was feeling sick! Sick enough that our "maybe" turned into a "more than likely". We had been waiting to do a prego test hoping that maybe we could get insurance and all that set up before we "knew" we were pregnant. But the sicker I got and the more obvious it became we just decided that it would no longer be honest to wait. We talked on one of Brian's breaks and work and decided, he stopped on his way home and grabbed the little test and TA-DA! There you have it!

Thankfully even despite my worrying, the Lord has taken care of our health insurance worries. I guess the old "if you're already pregnant when you apply for insurance its considered a "pre-existing condition" and your pregnancy is not covered" is no longer an issue. Praise the LORD! We now have great insurance through Brian's new employers, it's covering this pregnancy and we're so very thankful!! Now I just have to figure out if the Dr. that was recommended to me will take our insurance!!
