Hair cutting day!!

Chloe's hair... sigh! Her being a little girl and all it would be fun to have it long the way she wanted it and do cute things with it. But this momma is just not very skilled in the hair upkeep department. Plus Chloe's hair could go from perfectly brushed to horribly matted in just half a day! So we decided to chop it! Having never done that before, it took some time for me to work up the nerve. But finally late last week, after watching several how to videos on You Tube, I armed myself with some scissors and went at it!

 I love love love how it turned out! I know that any professional hair cutting person could look at it and see all kinds of flaws (even i critique my work almost every time I look at her) but it's not bad, even if I do say so myself! And the nice thing is, she loves it too! She says "Mom! I look like you and Alicia!" (Alicia is my niece, she's had a similar short hair cut for awhile now.) But, at least in Mom's opinion, the most amazing thing about this haircut is the time I now spend brushing out tangles.... 30 seconds... maybe a minute. That's a far cry to the 15ish minutes of screaming in agony that we used to spend!

Oh, since I was getting hair on the floor I buzzed Colton's again too!
