Chloe loves rain! I know I've mentioned that in the past... When the sun comes out after a storm it's not uncommon to hear Chloe say (in a sad voice) "but I wanted it to rain more!"
This day was no different. It was a couple weeks ago, and by the middle of the night it would end up being the first time we experienced tornado warning sirens. It started out mid morning, though, as just a beautiful, and LOUD, thunderstorm. It was a lazy Saturday, so we enjoyed the luxury of spending the morning in our doorway experiencing this amazing display of Gods power. Eventually the thunderstorm calmed down but the rain continued to pour down... HARD! The longer Chloe watched the further out onto the porch she got...and the more wet she became.
As you can see; we started at the window...
...then moved to the doorway,
...then out on to the porch.
Not sure if you can tell... but there are two different boots on those little feet. :)
Eventually, she asked if she could go out...
Why not! We thought. She was already wet. So Daddy removed the princess dress, put the right rain boot on the right foot, added a jacket, and out she went!
So wet!
She was DRENCHED! But had a blast!
A nice warm bath, some dry clothes, and she was on to the rest of her day!
