Thankful November: Day 24-28

Day 24- I'm so thankful for Christmas music! I love, love, love it! There are so many beautiful songs that proclaim the story of the Christ child. Old songs like "What child is this?" and "Do you hear what I hear?". New songs like "Mary, Did you know?" and "Go to sleep my child". I just love them all! Even the traditional songs like "Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire" and  "Let it snow". There are so many wonderful memories wrapped up in those songs.

Day 25- I'm thankful for the book of Ephesians! As is very typical of me, it's hard for me to pick a favorite book of the Bible. But, Ephesians definitely ranks up near the top. We were taught from this book today in church and I'm thankful for the reminders from ch. 2 of Gods rich mercy and the fact that when he saved us He broke down the dividing between jews and gentiles and offers EVERYONE, salvation!! Reminds me of the verses in Col 3 that I'm currently working on memorizing, verse 11 says "Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all"

Day 26- Snow! Our first snow flurry hit today! It didn't stick but it was so beautiful!! I'm thankful for that beautiful display of God's creation. Reminds me of this verse in Job 38:22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,"
I love seeing different proofs of our "Indescribable, uncontainable" God!!

Day 27- So thankful and excited that i get to help a couple ladies decorate our church for Christmas! I love this season! I love decorating for it! I so miss the days of helping get the GCC campus ready for Christmas, practically living in the trees the first week of December making them twinkle with lights. Sigh!... I'm excited to be able to help our new church in this little way! :D

Day 28- So thankful today for the birth of a brand new, healthy baby girl Casebolt. Grandchild # 11! Reiden Christine Casebolt. 8lbs. 20 1/2" Born at 10:15am to Ben and Julia Casebolt and welcomed by siblings Caleb and Violet.
